Back in Time to Play - PPA7......

Spent the past few days in Southern California and got back just in time to play this week's sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts. So Saffron ribbon and paper is set against a background of Bella Birds Designer Paper on a base of Bordering Blue. Flowers from Eastern Expressions rub-ons were used instead of stamping. A Short and Sweet thank you stamp expresses the sentiment. It was wonderful to get in a few extra days of warm summer weather. And this card will be sent to the wonderful folks who took such good care of us while we were out there!

Thank you for your comment. It has led me to this beautiful card of yours. I love the rub ons and how you used them to outline the middle flower. Very pretty!

This is gorgeous, Linda! I love the Bella Birds DSP and I especially love how you used rub-ons instead of stamps! So smart! I love how you highlighted the center circle with the flowers on each side! So pretty! I love and admire your work! I know your friends will love receiving this beautiful card!

Making a card is like decorating a room but in miniature..all the elements of good design have to be there. I could live in your "miniature room" very comfortably!
Loved your interpretation of your visit to sunny California...and the card says it all...beautiful, warm, friendly and elegant...great job! Now I am impressed!!
