Imagine my delight when she chose to give it to me. That reminds me....it needs a good cleaning. Firstly I would ...Where to start...where to start. Firstly I would like to say that tea was always served in special cups and saucers at my grandmother's house. I was so afraid of breaking that china! And secondly, that same grandmother had a telephone that looked a lot like the one that Miss Emma is holding. It was a notable phone because I always thought that the dial tone you could hear in it sounded remarkably like a freight train barreling down the tracks. :) And thirdly I love antique and salvage shops. Many of the things in my home belonged to someone else first. I love the idea that something I now have was loved and handled by someone before me. :) Jen Mitchellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10900261769824561993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4766644895066791098.post-84051527688758489752017-04-01T20:06:04.574-04:002017-04-01T20:06:04.574-04:00Oh be still my heart! I told her... "if it has push buttons and a 20 foot cord it is a 70's phone! Not a 50's.
