Our parents just did not muck around with anything, especially their coffee or tea! My aunt and your mom would have probably been the best of friends. Tea couldn't be served in a coffee mug, it had to be served in her fine china. I never got the hang of it, especially on exactly how long to steep, but she did teach me to like it with milk, not cream. Give me a cup of Keurig coffee any day! Anyway, love the lavender and yellow, and the perfectly placed enamel dots! Reminds me of a spring morning at my aunt's. Sweet card; it would be a nice one for inviting a friend over for tea or for any time! :)<br />long p.s.: Within the last six months or so I've made the switch from coffee to tea and I whole-heartedly agree with your sentiments. There is nothing NOTHING like a fresh cup of tea. (And EW! to paper cups! lol) I've recently become very spoiled because my hubby has been traveling to England and brings different teas to try. I now have two favorites: a specific English Breakfast in the morning, Ginger-Lemon afternoon/evening.
