Fall is my favorite time of year since it is three seasons in one - Summer/Fall/Winter. We are still in the summer part enjoying the sunshine and watching for the early pops of color in the trees. Then it will be October in all of its colorful glory followed by dark, gloomy November when we await the first snow and the holiday season to brighten things up again!
In the meantime we have been busy around here doing final summery things with Emma and Will like celebrating Emma's 13th birthday! Her parents took her to Boston to a Benson Boone concert followed by a family and friends celebration at home.
Concerts have sure come a long way since I saw Sonny and Cher a zillion years ago!
Michele has a delightful sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Have fun with it!
Stamp Sets: Autumn Leaves (SU), Funny Bones (Riley&Co)
Ink: Distress
Paper: Pecan Pie - Subtle Embossing Folder
Such a pretty card! Love the fall leaves and that sentiment is awesome! Glad that she enjoyed the show, hope that she had an awesome birthday! :)
ReplyDeleteLinda, the leaves are turning here in Michigan already. It's been very warm but also very dry which I've learned has an impact on the leaves, too! Fall is really where my heart is, and your arrangement of these gorgeous leaves is to die for! LOve that sentiment and its font!

What a fabulous way to interpret that sketch....which I admit had me running for the hills! And who can believe that our grandchildren are teenagers now!!! Lovely fall card, and I love the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, Linda, and I am 100% blaming you for the fact that I just ordered that October stamp : )
ReplyDeleteI drove by a few trees that look just like your wonderful autumn leaves on my way to the grocery store today. Those exact colors and they are just beautiful... just like your card! Happy birthday wishes to Emma!
ReplyDeleteAbsoluty gorgeous card, congrats 💐☺️ happy day
ReplyDeleteI love fall colors and I totally agree with the sentiment! Your leaves are gorgeous and I love how you've arrangement them around the center panel.
