There should be a children's book or cartoon about a little boy saving misfit ornaments with the stories behind them!Cindy Brumbaughhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12119588390108769693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4766644895066791098.post-32443758474773869492013-10-28T15:51:47.816-04:002013-10-28T15:51:47.816-04:00Awwwwwwwww

I was reminded of the animated Rudolph (with Yukon Cornelius, still cracks me up with his 'sled' dogs made up mainly of terriers) and the Island of Misfit Toys. Someone needed to take care of them and find them a home, just as your son did for the 'misfit' ornaments. I'm sure he'll love this tree now just as he did when a boy - and what a fabulous mom you are for keeping it over the years! Thank you for your warm comment on my site; you've definitely brightened my day (and coming here to visit: wow!!).<br />ccmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03929147498832463255noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4766644895066791098.post-49205640925644627592013-10-27T16:40:57.073-04:002013-10-27T16:40:57.073-04:00Wonderful card, but the story really touched my he...Wonderful card, but the story really touched my heart! I don't like to throw my ornaments away either and I do try to repair them or leave them in the box until next year. Pretty card I had to have a good look at the ornaments I thought they might have been shiny buttons. Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday this week. I really like the 3 ornaments hanging down from the sentiment. I struggle with putting patterned DSP with patterned DSP; but, this really looks nice together.
