Stamp Review Crew: Balloon Celebration

The Stamp Review Crew is featuring Balloon Celebration this week!  It's a great set and I have used it often......mostly for birthdays.  This card is a bit different though......it is done in pink to welcome a baby girl!  The balloons are embossed in white on vellum then punched out to make the bouquet.

This is always a great hop because we all use the same set - but in oh so many ways!  You have probably just come from talented Artisan Sue Plote's blog!  Your next stop is with Nikki Spencer.  I know she has something terrific in store!

  1. Sweet, Linda! Using the balloons for a baby card is a great idea, they're so soft on the vellum! Did you water color the panel they're on? Nice to see this used for something other than birthdays!

  3. Such a sweet card Linda. We must have both had the same train of thought using vellum and embossing. Using the same elements but two very different cards. Love that! The pink background is so pretty and the white embossing on the vellum continues to give your card a gorgous soft feel. Rochelle xo

  11. Really very pretty! Loved those butterfly balloon designs. Have been thinking to reserve a domestic space venue NYC for my daughter’s birthday party. This type of balloon decoration would look stunning in the party.

  13. I've been so afraid to heat emboss velum. Not anymore. If nothing else I will try. Thank you so much, you and the other ladies I've seen so far have gotten me excited. I fell Thrus. night and badly sprained my ankle, so I can't get to my room as I also sprain my opposite knee. Also damaged my right hand. I'm a mess! I can't get everything I need, but will save all these lovely post so I can remember later. Thank you all for sharing.
