Bling It On!

Remember when shiny silver Christmas trees were so chic and modern? Now they are so chic and retro!  I embossed the tree from Holiday Happiness in silver and added bling to the branches since Pals Paper Arts challenged us to "Bring on the Bling!"  Then I found a lovely angel hiding in the set Friends Never Fade.  Some more silver embossing and that angel was ready to be the "star"!

  2. LOVE it...and we have a silver tinsel tree that we use every year! I love it's sparkle and shine and your card is the perfect interpretation. And the angel...OMG, so clever. Lastly, I love the skinny taffeta ribbon tied up like a present...FABulous!

  4. Oh, I thought the angel was a flower that you cleverly used to top the tree! I love how the tree branches are "dripping" bling!! Yes, I do remember those silver trees. Underneath them was usually a rotating light with different colors! Fun memory, Linda!

  10. Linda this card is Bling FABULOUS. Touch of red really sets off the silver bling, and How stinkin' clever you are to find an angel in that stamp!Amazing. I too remember the silver trees...we were still chopping down our own and my dad would have no part of it. But the memories of thoses days still "sparkle" in my head.
