Thanks to the magic of blogger scheduling I completed today's PPA post on using punches before I left on a road trip with my daughter. I logged in to do a final proofread before the post went live and what did I notice but a missing pearl! So much for my post on the beauty of Paisley Prints and the graceful lines of the Decorative Label punch.........all I see (or don't see) is that missing pearl! My card is about 150 miles away from me as I rewrite but I think I know where that pearl is. I have read about a certain Boxer puppy with a fondness for pearls - yep I am talkin' to you Brody Schach!
I'll bet thats exactly where that pearl is! Your card is gorgeous. I love the richness of those colors!!! Beautiful! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteWith the beauty of this card who would even notice a pearl was missing, I surely did not. I love how you made the DSP your background, usually its the other way around. Very pretty card!!! Enjoy your time with your daughter!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love the colors. Great job with the bird.
ReplyDeleteI just came from Ann's blog and her pup was in some other type of Stampin trouble!
Absolutely stunning, Linda! I love the raised panel with the bird! The scrunchy ribbon is pure perfection! And of course, the pearls are the perfect touch! As for the missing pearl...let me check. Broooodeee!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Linda! Love all the details you put into it! That is too funny about your missing pearl.
ReplyDeleteGreat details using the DSP - love how you incorporated it into the bird!
ReplyDeleteHugs, M
Great job, Linda. Don't you love this new DSP? It really is beautiful. And your bird creation is as well!

Your card is gorgeous...and I still haven't spotted the missing pearl. I can't wait to order this paper, it is beautiful! I love the stamp set that coordinates with the decorative label punch also. And poor Brody reminds me of Beaver Cleaver (showing my age there), he just can't stay out of trouble. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Linda! I love the bird in DSP!
ReplyDeleteLinda beeeeeeeeeautiful........card.
ReplyDeleteWhen you mentioned the missing pearl... that I and probably no one else ever did, I was thinking of Brody too... then you wrote it! Too funny.
I love your card! The little bird punched from the DSP is really pretty
ReplyDeleteWOWZA! Love how you "showed off" the new DSP and new stamp set. Very exquisite card!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Linda. Love the color palette you used and the pearl accents!

Linda, this card caught my eye right away. I love the bold color combo and your use of punches. - You made me laugh referring to that beautiful boxer who likes to be adorned with pearls:)
ReplyDeletePearl or no pearl this one's a beauty! Love the focal DSP birdie and the rich colors. Hope you had a great trip with your daughter! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteI love your card Linda. Using the new DP was a brilliant idea. I love that you used one of the new stamps too. I did chuckle a bit when I read that Brody might have taken the pearl. :)

Pearl? What pearl? All I see is a gorgeous card that reminds me of Williamsburg, with the dark colors and patterned paper on the base of the card.
