God Save the Queen.......PPA92.....



I logged hours of  "seat time" watching that fabulous royal wedding.  It was glorious in every way!  And I laughed when I heard that Prince Harry was serving bacon sandwiches at the survivor breakfast.  My British born mother turns 86 this week.  Her secret to longevity?  A bacon sandwich for breakfast EVERY day - go figure.............

    I LOVE the colors this week at the PPA and I LOVE this bright cheery card! Wow. I really like that everything is "kady whop" (is that word?) .... Not Straight? I love that look. the scrunchy ribbon is so perfect with that big ole' button tied... looks like the bow is tied from the pulled strings in the ribbon. BEAUTIFUL!
    PS: ....... I LOVE Bacon too! Hugs.

    And I thought you were going to tell the story of how we were chuckling over poor Prince Phillip having to sing God Save the Queen to his wife for 65 years! LOL What a happy card!

    Great card, Linda!! Love the torn edges and the effect of the skewed panels. Lovely ribbon treatment and use of the colours too. Your mom will love it :) Keep the bacon sandwiches coming LOL!

    This is a wonderful layout ... love your torn paper! Beautiful card and you showcased the challenge colors perfectly! I wanted to watch the wedding but good 'ole Mother Nature thought otherwise.

    Lidna, your card is just fabulous!!! Awesome details and I'm not a fan of scrunchy ribbon, but your card is changing my mind!!! I so enjoyed the royal wedding too. Bacon sandwiches? I could do that everyday and lately I've come pretty close!!! Happy Birthay to your mum too!!! My signature is often CAra... lol I am forever backspacing on my own name!!!
