PPA97...Signature Style....
Pals Paper Arts challenge this week is to design a card in your signature style. I try to push my comfort zone now and then but my go to style is definitely clean and crisp! I love white space - or in this case Crumb Cake space. The red, black and white look so sharp against it! The daisy from Every Moment was perfect for a game of "Loves Me, Loves Me Not." Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds add a bit of sparkle to the daisy centers. Interesting that my closet is mostly black, white, red and taupe - must be directly related to that signature style! If I start sprinkling myself with Dazzling Diamonds I have gone too far............
Oh my goodness...this is so pretty!!! The patience required to cut these out; well, that's just something that passed me by! Glad you have it, your creation is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, I love the CAS and colors too. Great job with all that cutting out, but I really like the "loves me, loves me not" idea, so creative!
ReplyDeleteP.S. the added little flower stem on the sentiment is the perfect touch too!
Super cute and a brilliant idea with that daisy flower!! LOVE IT!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I think it's so clever how you sprinkled those petals around! And I do love your crisp and clean style. It's one I gravitate towards, as well.
ReplyDeleteSOOO cute, Linda! Love it!

Hugs, M
This is definitely a Linda-style card. You are right, clean and simple with ample "space" of some color. But your details are always delightful!
ReplyDeleteFabulously done, Linda!! Love the falling petals and great colour combo. I'm with you re: clean and crisp style :)

ReplyDeleteYou are too funny, Linda Callahan! You know I LOVE your style! Clean, classy, and crisp! And today's card is no exception! I LOVE what you've done with the daisies and I love the color combo too! You don't need any Dazzling Diamonds, friend (on yourself or your cards)! You and the cards are GREAT! No changes necessary! : )
ReplyDeleteOh Linda, you are sprinkled in dazzlin' diamonds!!! I love your crisp and clean style!!! I love what you see in the stamps you buy... just like this one. I never seen, he loves me loves me not... but then I didn't see the grinch stealing those ornaments. *smile* Your color choices are fabulous and of course this card, as all is a favorite! Hugs,
ReplyDeleteThis is just the cutest card! I have got to give it a try. Your colors, layout and stamp choice are all perfect together. Love It!
ReplyDeleteLinda this card perfection! Only you would think to cut the "love me love me nots" from the daisies....... How cute is that!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your cards and I always learn something new... thanks sooooooo much for sharing.
PS: I mostly LOVE your sense of humor, and hey... I think you'd look fabulous with touch of Dazzling Diamonds! Hugs.
This is absolutely stunning Linda and I would have completely picked this as yours out of a stack of cards. Clean lines with super detailed little extras? And a great overal design sense. Yep, that's you.
ReplyDeleteLinda, this is sooo beautiful. Your style is classy! Very Very Classy!!!
ReplyDeleteGosh, Linda - love this card and love your style! Such a clever idea with the petals, too! TFS
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this is the perfect Linda C card! Certainly clean and crisp but your cards are always so thoughtful. You really think about your creations and through you they tell a story. No one else does it like you! Love this one--those daisies just pop and your other signature? Those little trailing rhinestones--LOVE 'em! ((hugs))
ReplyDeleteWow Linda...this is gorgeous, I love the crisp colours and the pop of white that compliments the flowers! I DO wear dazzling diamonds...usually all over my fair and hairline, my hubby gets a kick out of it! He thinks it is pretty cute when I am glittered like a card!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lesley
This is a fab card, Linda! The kraft is always 'in season' as far as I'm concerned and the way you have put red and black with it is outstanding! Love it xx
