Freshly Made Sketches 3


These colors are so bright and happy that you can't help but have a happy birthday when you receive a card like this! Big Top Birthday DSP looks fabulous with a Tempting Turquoise background and a pop of Real Red.  I used stamps from Happiest Birthday Wishes and snuck in a candle image for the i.   The skinny taffeta ribbon that peeks out along the edge of the turquoise panel sort of sneaks up on you - like birthdays!

    Oh my Linda ... you are soo right, these colours definitely radiate "bright and happy" ...
    I love the busy background and the simple focal image combination and your cute little oval and button detailing is super, but I really love your creative use of the ribbon (I had to zoom in to really see how you created that ...)

    I agree, Linda. Guaranteed happy birthday if Turquoise is involved. :) It is my favorite bright color, especially paired with red! Love the crimping and the cute little button with its adorable thread bow.
