Christmas cards, Christmas trees, jingle bells and sparkle - just a few of the joys Christmas! This past weekend we headed out to a tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree. This beautiful Fraser fir will be coming home with us mid-December. There will be snow, hot chocolate, Christmas carols and that delicious smell of pine in the living room. The joyful list keeps growing........
OMGosh what a beautiful Christmas card! I absolutely love it! You almost have me smelling the pine and singing a Christmas Carol now! Gorgeous tree to boot!!
ReplyDeleteYour tree is gorgeous! So is your card. You are ready!
ReplyDeleteWow Linda! That is gorgeous. I love how you used that designer paper. And that sentiment is one of my favorites for Christmas. It looks great with the glimmer paper!
ReplyDeleteYou and hubby look adorable out tree shopping! Love your tree...sigh...love Christmas! This card is awesome, love the way you interpreted the sketch!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card! And the tree looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWow! Beautiful card Linda. I like your take on the sketch.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are on top of things, picking out your tree already! I LOVE this card!!! So clever to use DP!
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas card is stunning. Talk about planning, picking out your Christmas Tree already.
ReplyDeleteYour use of that DSP is completely perfect! So amazing! Love the pops of silver and sparkle too. Picking out the tree looks like such fun!

ReplyDeleteNice photo too! Love the smell of fresh pine... hhmmmmm
hugs
GORGEOUS card Linda! I love how you incorporated the silver glimmer paper also, it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI am SOOO jealous about the Fraser Fir! I grew up in MA and we always got beautiful Fraser Firs for Christmas. They are pretty impossible to find in Alaska though :(
Wonderful inspiration for the FMS challenge!
What a fabulous card, Linda! I LOVE the way you used the DP and combined the other elements. How special to pick your tree ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome, that you get to pick out a tree this far in advance. I didn't know one could do that.
ReplyDeleteLOve that shiny shimmery paper behind the 'ribbon' of patterned paper. A very festive card!
Such a beautiful Christmas card! Love the shimmery paper! Darling photo too :) Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteWOW ... your card is absolutely stunning ... love how you have used that DSP and created a banner styled panel ... and of course the use of the glitter paper is awesome and oh so beautiful in your card! Fabulous in every way!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm SO jeaous of your tree, Linda! Ever since we moved to Texas we went to a "faux" tree and I hate it. But real trees just don't hold up in this climate. By he second week of December, you can just look at it and 300 needles fall off. Ugh! I miss Christmas in NY!
ReplyDeleteYur card is stunning! Love how you featured the DSP and the rich color combo. Can't wait to play along this week. Hugs!
Oh my, love, love, love the banner of patterned paper and the tiny jingle bells just about sent me over the edge! Love this card!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, you got to pick your tree already? The local tree farms here don't even let folks pick trees until Thanksgiving weekend at the earliest so lucky you!!! And you picked a gorgeous tree - I love picking out our tree and then going back out to cut it and bring it home. Ahh, memories!
