Party This Way! PPA133
Combining Concord Crush and Daffodil Delight results in one loud Happy Birthday for sure! But the best birthdays are not always the noisiest ones. My husband brought our newborn daughter and me home from the hospital on my birthday. It was freezing cold, snowing and almost Christmas. There was cake, a Christmas tree and that beautiful baby girl. Best birthday ever!

Bright but fabulous! GReat way to use these colors!
ReplyDeleteYummy! I love this layout and your layers are distinct, sharp, and exciting enough to make me want to try out a sketch. I love yellow, Linda! TFS, Celia
ReplyDeleteWowza, I need my shades! This is "cool" as Cassidy would say! Love your little story, too!
ReplyDeleteLinda LOVE this color combo!!! And what a great BIRTHDAY! Sounds perfect to me!Hugs.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! How fun is this! If this card didn't put a person into the party mood, nothing would! Adorable, Linda!
ReplyDeleteThis is a striking combo, Linda! It's really pretty and I love the little pop of red in the button too!
ReplyDeleteSounds like the best birthday ever, Linda. NOne could top it!
ReplyDeleteYour card makes great use of that deep purple and bright yellow. I thought it was navy until I read the description.
Love the color palette. So bold! Hate to see this set retire. You used it so beautifully!
ReplyDeleteLove this so much! It's so vibrant, but not overly so (IMHO)!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so fun - HAPPY birthday, indeed! I am intrigued by the combination of the slanted pattern on the dsp combined with the balloons and dotted ribbon. I would have been afraid to mix them, but they look so good. TFS!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely an 'out loud' birthday! So fresh and beautifully made!
ReplyDeletei think a bold color combo is "just the thing" for a birthday card. the "crush" is so crisp and striking against the daffodil! hugs, m

ReplyDeleteLove this card. You make really nice cards.
ReplyDeleteLove that pop of red with the button, Linda! Who knew purple and yellow worked together? You rocked this card!
ReplyDeleteI love this one. I can wait to get my very own summer smooch paper. I picked Party This Way for one of my freebies during Saleabration. Just used it yesterday for the first time. Stamped 6 bright balloons, used some baker's twine & my trusty owl punch & stamp set. Think I'll be using this set quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteI have this stamp set and it has never seen the first drop of ink. I now have been inspired tremendously, time to ink it up!
ReplyDeleteLove your card and your Birthday story!
