A Christmas Carol - FMS 61

I survived my first day of Emma sitting - and even managed to make a card as well!  Emma was very happy sitting in her bouncy seat in my craft room as long as I kept singing Christmas carols.  You can never be too young to learn the words to "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas!"

This card came together fast thanks to a tip from fellow DT member Rita who said just sponge that Natural Composition paper in any color for a great effect - and she was right!

Jen has a great sketch for us today at Freshly Made Sketches!

  7. I was wondering where that gorgeous paper came from! I think I may have to give this one a try. I've got a viola playing sister who would appreciate it!

And it's never too early to immerse Emma in crafting and Christmas carols! I'm sure she'll always associate the two with you!

  21. Yay for sponged paper. :) It really makes that DSP SO versatile! I just love what you did. I'm glad Emma is letting you stamp some. Laila is pretty good right now, but she's getting close to rolling and I'm not sure we'll get to stamp once that happens!
