As if the holiday season isn't busy enough my daughter's birthday was last week and mine is today! My goal every year is to have everything done by my birthday so I can just kick back and enjoy. Except for a bit of baking things are pretty well set around here. And I am spending my birthday with Emma - best present ever! Thought you might enjoy seeing Emma's reaction the first time she ever laid eyes on the Grinch!
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
Pals Paper Arts has a sketch challenge this week!
Baby's first Christmas will be extraordinary . . . and your card is gorgeous. Love how you used the sentiment to create a stunning background!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to both of you and Merry Christmas too Linda. Your card is pretty! Hugs, Bev
ReplyDeleteLove how you created the "stripes" with the sentiment! Very striking! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!

Happy birthday! Thanks for all the inspiration you give all year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Linda!!! I see you're in good company, well maybe not the Grinch! Love your card too, the staggered words are a great way to use this sketch!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Linda! Wishing you a wonderful birthday and holiday with your beautiful family!
ReplyDeleteA classic Linda Callahan card for sure! I love the look on Emma's face! Happy holidays to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Linda! I love your card, but Emma's picture wins again! I can tell by looking at her expression that she already possesses her grandmother's sense of humor! That expression is priceless! I'd pay good money for her to tell me what she was thinking about when she looked over a saw Grinch sitting next to her! I'm certain whatever she would have to say would be something witty and funny! So funny and too, too cute!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas to you and yours, friend!
Well, happy birthday wishes to you! And what a gift you've got there with a beautiful granddaughter! Oh, and I really like your clever take on the sketch. Way to think outside the box!
