Aversion - Diversion....FMS108

I am actually making my Christmas cards this year - first time ever! Knowing my aversion to making multiples of cards this is a major challenge for me! I kept the design super simple and I am making five at a time.  Creating even five at one sitting puts me over the edge and then I need a diversion........so that's what this card is.......a diversion. There was Christmas stuff lying all over my desk so I went with a holiday theme this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  I will post my family Christmas card design at a later date when I have all 80 of them finished.  So far I have completed 15........seems to me I had better develop an aversion to diversions or I will never get done in time!

Narelle has a beautiful layered sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  5. This is the cutest little tree ever and love the tiny tag. and...Well it's hard to believe you never made your Christmas cards.
I do get bored making the same thing over and over especially since I have to do about 80 now... down from 120. Each year my list gets slimmer and slimmer and not always for a good reason. But I still love making them. Last year I was short! I got a late start and I was mailing every class sample, and and every old left over I had around! hugs.

  6. 15 cards sounds pretty good to me at this early stage! I think I have two made so far! Making my own Christmas cards is how I started on this whole stamping journey so I have a bit of a soft spot for hand crafted Christmas cards!

  7. Great Christmas card Linda! I make my Christmas cards but I don't make more than 4 of any one design. I don't think I could make so many of just one design so I have a lot of respect for you making 80 cards.

  10. I know how you feel making mutiples! But, a little at a time and it gets done. But I am surprised how making multiples does go quickly once you get started. Your card is awesome! The simplicity makes it so detailed in the end!
