Laugh In With the Zoo Babies - FMS123

Quite often the card I end up with is not the card I envisioned when I started.  My plan was to dangle monkeys off the twine above the sentiment.  But as I was playing around with the circles visions of Laugh In came to mind. That show always made me laugh! I loved when those wacky characters popped out of wall panels making crazy comments!  I can still see Ruth Buzzi's hairnet and hear Goldie's giggle.  So the monkey stamp was put away. Instead you see "Goldie" popping out to pass the news of a baby boy up to "Buzzi!"  I bet Artie Johnson would find it all verrrrry interesting..........

Jen Brum has a clever design for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  5. This design is so creative! You made me smile to remember Laugh In and how the cast members went back and forth with their lines, popping in and out of the wall, like the characters on your card. Just brilliant!

  7. Clever! That's the first thing I thought when I saw your card. And the same thing others thought when I see their comments. Love the colors and any card with Zoo Babies is a winner in my book.

  13. Oh Linda, This is just the cutestbaby card I have seen for ages. I'm right there with you visualizing the Laugh In crew. They were always so funny. I am off to see if I have some stamps I can make this with. Now I will have to buy Zoo Babies. I had been thinking of it already. You've given me the nudge I needed.

  17. Laugh In obviously never made it to NZ because none of it rings a bell with me. Regardless, I don't need to see the show to know your card is just adorable. I love your wee animals popping out of the circles - great take on the sketch!
