We are off on a road trip to the Outer Banks and when we return my world here will probably look like the colors on this card. The leaves seem to change colors in a heartbeat. But in the meantime I will enjoy summer weather in North Carolina. Our whole family is going which should be an event in itself! It has been a long time since I have traveled with a toddler but it looks like she is the first one ready to go.....
Pals Paper Arts has a terrific sketch for us this week! I used images from Work of Art and the new set For All Things along with a wonderful new DSP called Colors of Autumn.
You may have a gorgeous card, Linda, but Emma steals the show! Thanks for sharing, Pal!
ReplyDeleteLove your focal point on this card, Linda. The colors could be swapped out for any season. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLinda I love your card and I now relate the whisps of twine with YOU! Love that look. I also agree the color could be swapped out for any season. hugs.
ReplyDeletePS: Sounds like a fun road trip and Emma certainly looks ready to ride! Enjoy!
hugs
Love your Fall card, Linda! The "messy" twine adds a fun touch. I hope you have a wonderful vacation!
ReplyDeleteLinda,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card- fall is beautiful but then comes the cold...sometimes for too long. Your card was a pleasant treat this morning. I love the colors and the twine embellishment. I can see it in other colors, too. Enjoy the vacation with the family. I see Emma is ready to go! PS...love that profile pic!
I just love your card Linda! I couldn't visualize using these papers but you have captured them perfectly! And your matching sequins are so cute! Do tell how you colored them! Have a great trip!!
ReplyDeleteEmma even has her whales on..ready for the beach! So cute! Katy is right, she does steal the show. Love your card :) and think the sequins & twine look awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI have to wait a long time for fall to get here! I love the trunk photo. I remember my kids loved when my sister would let them climb into her trunk and knock until she opened it. It was a novelty because we had station wagons or SUVs with no trunk! Thanks for sharing the fall theme, Linda!
ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh! It's a miniature LC360! Beautiful card. Love those swanky touches of linen!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing your Outer Banks stories and seeing pictures!!! Love the card you left us with - I am looking forward to getting my hands on that set and that paper!
ReplyDeleteThis is incredible! Hope you have a great time.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, I love the fall colors! Have fun in the OBX, the weather should be wonderful for you.
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning, Linda! The colors, the addition of the fibers, and the perfectly placed stamp from Work of Art to highlight the foliage.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool card ! Love the patterns and design :)
