A Warm Hello......PPA284

Sending flowers and sunshine to all of you on the east coast bracing for a blizzard this weekend. We could use some of that snow around here - not a good storm in sight!  Long ago when my dad and I were visiting prospective colleges we headed for Oswego, NY where the college is located directly on Lake Ontario.  As we entered town snow started falling and by the time we got to campus the wind was blowing sideways off the lake and you could hardly see.  That was the first time I met Lake Effect Snow! We were not dressed for blizzard conditions so there was no campus tour that day - just a meeting in the admissions office where life was going on as usual.  Later as we left campus my dad looked at me and said, "You're going to go here aren't you?"

Yes I was.....

I don't remember one thing that admissions guy said to me but I do remember watching that swirling snow coming in off the lake!  I was hooked!

Meanwhile Emma is bundled up for school today - she likes school because Miss Bobbi Jo is showing them how to use "cutters" - sounds waaaaay more interesting than scissors......

I love Maggie's sketch at Pals Paper Arts this week with its panel slightly askew!

Stamp Sets Used:  Hello, Kinda Eclectic, Pretty Thankful, Holly Jolly Greetings
