This card has a retro vibe to it I think. Back in the 50's my mother and aunts would sit around our black and white metal kitchen set drinking coffee, smoking cigarettes and catching up on family news. Facebook and text messages seem to have replaced the kitchen set as the sites to catch up on the news.........but there are definitely times when I miss that kitchen set.........
My artistic friend Cindy Hall has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! I love how our Design Team has used this sketch in oh so many ways - lots of inspiration!

ReplyDeleteFabulous card, very creative, as usual, and a great memory brought to the forefront of my mind. I have almost the same exact memory! And aprons somehow seem to fit into the picture. I also remember just "going for a drive" and dropping in on someone. Now everybody has to have a day or two's notice!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, Lynda. I would LOVE to have you stop by and share your lovely cards with us in our FUN challenges at Word Art Wednesday. I hope you will play along.
