I am lucky enough to know more than one person who could be the recipient of this card.......but I am thinking about sending it to our local weatherman. Why you may ask??? Well I am not a fan of the heat for sure but I am a fan of hot fudge sundaes for sure. Therefore in an effort to get me through those very warm days and in an effort to keep my craving under control I have developed a summer hot fudge sundae eating program. 90 degree days are rare up here so my rule is if the temp reaches 90 degrees I reach for a hot fudge sundae! We actually had three 90 degree days in the past two weeks and that dear old weatherman just predicted two more for the end of next week! Could be a record setting summer!
Laurie has a fun Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge for us this week at the Paper Players! I used enamel dots, Pop of Pink Designer Paper and the Awesome Die-cut from Neat and Tangled along with the Labeler Alphabet set for the sentiment.
I used the sweet sketch at Global Design Project for my design!
That is so pretty! Love the clean design and your color scheme. And I really love your hot fudge sundae idea when it's over 90 degrees...the only problem is that I'd be eating them every day from May to October down here!! :)
ReplyDeleteI second the hot fudge idea..LOL!!! What a fun card...Love those big polka dots and sentiment!
ReplyDeleteAww, you are pretty awesome yourself, Linda. Great card! Thanks for playing at Global Design Project with us this week xox
ReplyDeleteI love this beautiful bold design... oh those polka dots!
ReplyDeleteLinda this is so cute! Love your layout and the story is a fantastic idea... however... we have been sweltering in Michigan... so good thing you didn't send this last month! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! This IS awesome! That diecut steals the show! Don't eat TOO many ice cream sundaes though....you KNOW what will happen, LOL! I speak from experience!
ReplyDeleteBig polka dots and that awesome sentiment brought a big smile my way! I love this card! XX
ReplyDeleteLinda, I love the bold, graphic feel of your card and that little star paper clip is perfect. Love it!

I don't know if I should wish you more hot fudge sundaes or not. I'm not a fan of hot days either, but that is a reward worth wishing for! Love your white and gold circle background with the pink accents. It's an "awesome" card!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that bold diecut sentiment Linda and the gold polka dot background. I'm quite partial to a hot fudge Sunday too - here's to the next 90 degree day!!
