Best Fishes.....PP305

Miss Emma was excited to welcome a new member to the family......her very own Beta fish named Blaze!  Unfortunately Blaze went belly up a few days after he arrived.  Emma insisted he go to the vet since he wasn't looking well.....for sure!  So Blaze got scooped out and Emma's dad headed back to the fish shop to "see the vet".......and to see if Blaze had a twin. I am happy to report that Blaze did indeed have a twin and "Blaze" is now back to swimming happily in his little tank........after receiving "medicine from the vet."  So how old do you think she will be when she figures out what really happened to Blaze?!??!

My super talented friend Nance has a great sketch for us at the Paper Players!  I used fish from Seaside Shore, a sentiment from Jar of Love and By the Shore DSP for my fishy scene.....I am thinking it will make a cute anniversary card!

  1. Awesome card! Love the gold fish and the great stitched layers. Your fish story makes me laugh...that "medicine" from the vet is amazing stuff. Hopefully it will be awhile before another trip to the vet is necessary. ;)

  2. A fishy card for your fishy tale - I love it Linda! Your card is gorgeous and I love the touches of gold and sequins. I was late linking my card up last night following a quick post-vacation make and couldn't believe it when I saw we had used the same set - but I'm afraid I didn't have time to remake with something else! I think they both look sufficiently different though, so hopefully twice the inspiration!

  3. So lucky that Blaze got some medicine from the vet ;) And you've put twins on your card, too! How clever! Great card and a great story.

  4. What a fun card...these papers and images are perfect for the sketch. At least Blaze's clone made it back on the scene...Cassidy's mouse just sort of "ran away"!!!! I don't think we'll ever tell her...if they figure it out on their own, well, then they're old enough to understand, LOL!

  7. Linda, you always make me LOL! I even remembered your name!

I have a few fishy tales from my boys. So happy there are lots of "twins" in fish families!

Your card is just perfect for this tale! The sequins and cord are perfect embellishments to show off these beautiful fish! XX

  9. Cute gold embossed fishes and I like the gold cord loop for the circle. The stamped red card panel really adds to the overall cuteness! Love it.
