Watercoloring....a bit....PP304

My college roommate lives in NYC and celebrates a birthday this month.  If I really could put a big candle on top of her building I would......but this card will have to do! I watercolored with shades of blue, violet and a touch of pink to create my daybreak background.  Then I stamped the skyline from Calling All Heroes.  Watercoloring is not my strong suit but someone I know loves it!

Jaydee's challenge this week is to do some watercoloring on a CAS card......have fun with the Paper Players!

I was also inspired by the sketch at Cas(e) this Sketch.

  1. Linda yours was the first card I went to this morning as I was attracted to that skyline and wanted to see who makes the stamp set. Love what you did with it, and I spotted the sketch right away too! Just perfect use of it!

  7. I am envious of your watercoloring. You've captured the morning daybreak perfectly! I think all of our watercoloring troubles are because we didn't learn early enough so Miss Emma definitely has the right idea!
