Swirly Birds.....PPA312

I am delighted to be the featured designer at Pals Paper Arts this week!  Seven years ago this month I designed my first card for PPA.  (You can see that very first card here.)  I was so excited to be part of a design team and I am still excited to be part of this team! I have been lucky to work with some amazing artists!

This week I used Swirly Bird to create my baby card along with Gorgeous Grunge and a sentiment from Made With Love.  I love A Little Foxy DSP for the background!

And Miss E loved all the birds swirling around her in the bird cage at Animal Land!

I hope you join us this week at Pals Paper Arts!  Put your own spin on the sketch - I am excited to visit your gallery and see what you create!

The Dare to Get Dirty Challenges are still going on at Splitcoast.  This card works for Lydia Fiedler's challenge. Lots of inspiration over there!

  3. Oh, I wanted to mention that your granddaughter is so pretty. She looks like a little china doll. I have 4 grandsons and am hoping one day one of my girls will have a baby girl. In the meantime I have to be satisfied with Superman and Batman and firetrucks and....LOL I do love my little boys though~!

Little Emma is so cute but it looks like dead birds at her feet! What?

  7. Love the latest photo of "mini me." Sweet dress. You really know how to master the art of "random" placement. I know it takes work and did it beautifully on this card.

  9. So often we look at our old cards and go "yuck" and realise how far our stamping has come. But I looked at your 7-year-old card and thought wow! You have always been great, Miss Linda! And I just love your sketch and am going to try hard to make a card using it before the challenge ends. BTW, I love your new card too - that grey splatter absolutely makes it!

  10. Seven years, a lot of ink, a lot of stamps, a lot of money spent, and you've still got it! Your card is beautiful and Miss Emma (or should I say Dr. Doolittle) looks so grown up!
