My first trick or treating partner growing up was my cousin who lived next door. We are long past the trick or treating days but I still send her a Halloween card every year. At our age there is only one way to fly......
My talented friend Jen Timko has a wide open sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! I inked up the banner with distress inks and stamped bats from Halloween Scares. A sentiment from Delightful Doxies by Newton's Nook works perfectly!
I love your inked background and fun Halloween color combo! I'll bet you could still go trick-or-treating with Emma! I'd give you candy if you came to my door.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Love the banner colors and that sentiment is just perfect! :)
ReplyDeleteYour inked background is super fun on this clever, clever card. I have to think WAY back to who my first trick or treat partner was. How wonderful that you remember your cousin with this tradition.
ReplyDeleteI love you background, Linda, so spooky! It looks great on the purple background too. The sequins and twine just make the right amount of sparkle & shine!
