Warm Thoughts.....FMS257






This will be the perfect card to send to any one of my friends here about mid-January when the temperatures are below freezing!  Warm thoughts are nice but in reality a cozy quilt and a fire in the fireplace help me through those winter days.  But then again a nice warm breakfast in bed's not bad either!




Oh that amazing Jen Mitchell designed a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! I watercolored a background before stamping images fromTotally Trees and a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler by Paper Smooches.

    Awesome card! Love the palm trees and tropical feel, perfect take on that sketch! And a little juice box, food and TV in bed looks awesome to me! :)

    Love how you used these trees!! I debated this set and now I'm seeing that I should have gotten it. And that breakfast in bed?? I need to move to THAT B & B!!!

    I love this beautiful scene, especially with that beautiful blue background. Very cute card, Linda! And if I had to live through your winters, I'd definitely be like Emma and never want to get out from under my warm covers. I don't think anyone would bring me food in bed though.

    A reply to Maggie......The birds are from an SU set called Let's Get Away. the sentiment is from a Paper Smooches set called Sentiment Sampler. Included in that set is also the word "hugs". I cut the s off of that word and turned it on its side to make the waves......

    Well look at you with the watercolors! Nice job. I can almost feel that tropical breeze on my face! Your beach scene is just the thing to make me happy on a cold winter night!
