Trick or Treat......PP318

Our pumpkins are out on the porch railings ready for Halloween next week. It always amazes me that all the leaves are on the ground by Halloween night and you can hear the trick-or-treaters swishing through them as they walk along the sidewalks.  These photos were taken two days ago at our camp on the lake.  It was a gorgeous 75 degree fall day.  Emma had a great time playing in the leaves and running around with Corduroy.

And as I type this two days later the temperature is in the thirties with a cold wind and rain falling......and expectations of wet snow overnight.  Yep the rest of that beautiful color will be on the ground by morning! Guess that's the trick that follows the treat.......

Jaydee has a great sketch for us this week at the Paper Players!  I'm still having fun with that Halloween Mini Bluprint Set by Tim Holtz.  I paired it with Ghoulish Grunge for a Halloween card

The Card Concept has a beautiful fall inspiration photo this week!

  1. What a cool card! Love your collage stamping. Love seeing the pictures of pretty fall colors up north (even if they only lasted for two days!)...So far we've had a few trees with some color, but mostly the leaves are just turning brown and falling off the trees down south.

  2. Great Halloween card, Linda. Great background for that architectural pumpkin too. Lovely pictures! There's just nothing prettier than Fall color in my opinion. It's just so amazing how the weather is so different around the country. We're basically in opposite corners of the country and I'm running around in shorts still with my sunroof open on my car.

  6. Linda love that idea of combining the blueprint items for your pumpkin. I feel some of the pumpkins I see now a days ARE designed by an engineer too!
Love the FALL and crunching leaves.. wish they stay around longer.

  8. LOVE this TH assemblage! You nailed the "sketchiness" of this pumpkin perfectly! Especially with that drippy stuff, LOL! Yes, our leaves are on the ground in brown piles too...no snow, but darned tootin' cold! Love the pix anyway!
