I love this image from the new set Crafting Forever and I paired it with a sentiment from Eastern Palace. In my mind my crafting tools are all arranged in pots or baskets or jars at all times......just like the pot you see here. But in reality my desk looks like the paper behind the pot! I bet you can relate.....
My oh so talented friend Jen Mitchell designed a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches. Hope you join us!
Stamp Sets: Crafting Forever, Eastern Beauty
Ink: Copics, Memento Black
Paper: Whisper White, Pick A Pattern DSP
How cute! And how true...my desk and all the space around me looks like that paper. Great sentiment to use with those crafty things.
ReplyDeleteLove it! That paper works perfectly (and looks like my desk too!!) with your image. Love the bright colors too! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a great card, Linda! This pot of brushes goes so perfectly with this paper - so smart! The single sequin adds a perfect shine.
ReplyDeleteLOL...I think we can all relate to your dilemma! I know there are SOME people whose desks are neat and tidy. I just am not one of those people!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a neat freak, Linda... sorry bout that! But that doesn't mean I don't get crazy messy when I'm crafting!!! A bit of tidying between projects is a must though!
ReplyDeleteLOve you and the 'messes' you make are fantastic! this card included!

I love this image, too! And I love this sentiment paired with it. Cute card!
ReplyDeleteLinda this card is adorable! Love it. and...... YES I CAN relate to the DSP in the background. Sometimes I get buried in my stuff!!! Hugs
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the messy desk Linda. I try because I find it really hard to craft in a mess, but just the playing creates it. And I am not at all organized so I love my things in pots and cups, easy to see and grab.
ReplyDeleteAnd adorable card! I love the sentiment you used.
My crafting desk is a beautiful vintage drafting table. It's got lots of space but somehow most of it is taken up with "supplies" and all I get is a small square to work in! I love how you've taken the inspiration from your own desk (ha!) and your idea of how that desk should look and combined it in this pretty card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card Linda! I love that image and that fabulous DSP! That sentiment is beautiful!!! You did great with your colouring!!! You should see my desk right now! I'm in the thick of camp preparation and I have 20 projects in various stages everywhere!!!!
ReplyDeleteFun card, Linda, and the pot of brushes is colored beautifully! My desk gets messy while creating, but I do like to clean it up before I walk out of the room.
ReplyDeleteAMAZING...and I am smiling from ear to ear! I am totally with you - I love to see tools and such in containers but YIKES my work area at times seem that they JUMP RIGHT OUT!
ReplyDeleteI can feel a CASE coming on - LOVE IT! Just fabulous!
Ha! Yep! I couldn't even show you the mess of a desk I have - I'be be ashamed.... Your card is awesome as is that stamp set that I keep seeing and wondering if I need....
