Halloween Fun.....FMS307

This card was inspired by this past weekend's fall festival at a nearby farm.  We had a grand time but the weather was not fallish at all!  What is up with 90 degrees the end of September?!?!  Way too hot!

Miss E had fun and when we got home discovered a friend of mine had sent her a cuddly crocheted three horned monster for Halloween.  She loves it and declared she was naming it Horny........

and Erin and I collapsed laughing......yep just like that we were back in junior high again......

Our oh so talented leader Jen Timko has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Hope you play along!

Stamp Sets/Die Cuts:  Pick A Pumpkin, Season to Sparkle

  1. That card is awesome! Love the pumpkin with the little crow sitting on top and your vellum sentiment is perfect! Okay...I was trying to be an adult when I saw the name of the monster, but I was unsuccessful at that and I did laugh right out loud too! :D

  2. Oh my gosh, I am not sure which is cuter...the card (VERY cute), the picture of Emma with the pumpkin ring toss (equally cute), or the image of you & your daughter laughing about Emma's choice of name for her new friend!!! Gave me chuckle for sure!

  5. This is such a great Halloween card Linda! I love that pumpkin and the little crow! Such great diets! It's been crazy how here too and now is crazy cold! We can't win! The weather seems so confused! Love E's name for her new monster! Ha!

  6. Oh, that Emma is clever indeed. An aptly named monster, I think. Can't imagine what you and Erin find so funny!! And can I just say how much I love your Poe-esque Halloween card. Great use of die cuts to create this little scene.

  7. Snigger, snigger - out of the mouths of babes! Meanwhile, as I put my serious face back on... your card is just delightful - such a very clever take on the sketch and the black plaid background is gorgeous.
