I think all my friends here in the Northeast would appreciate some sunshine this week! That must be what inspired my card - along with Kim's wonderful sketch! Lots of creative possibilities with this one!
So have fun with Kim's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches! Put anything you want in the corner.....except Baby of course!
StampSets: Sending Sunshine (Wplus9), My Sunshine (SSS)
Ink: Night Of Navy, Daffodil Delight
Paper: Whisper White, Tutti-frutti DSP
Awesome card! Perfect colors to send a little sunshine. Love the thin line of DSP, great design! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this bright and sunny card, all the way down to the perfectly aligned polka dots between the two white panels. And thanks for the giggle this morning -- the reference about not putting Baby in the corner really did make me giggle.
ReplyDeleteI adore the navy and yellow combination, but I absolutely LOVE the way you've cropped the panels here. So smart and fun! Love, love, love.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, so uplifting to see here in snowy Maine (more snow on the way tonight!) :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Linda, you've given me my first laugh for the day! Sunshine is just what we ALL need, and your combination of this darling sun, and that gorgeous navy paper ... do I need to ask whose is it?

Oh, my! I love your bright, happy colors on your card today! The sunshine is so much fun and those sequins add the best sparkle!
ReplyDeleteOH my goodness...this is a ray of sunshine for sure! Am I right in thinking you're getting more snow too?! I need some sunshine to melt it all away!!! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteFun card & great use of the sketch!
ReplyDeleteLOL - I like your Dirty Dancing reference Linda...still one of my all time favourite films! This fits perfectly with the sketch...the colours you've used are gorgeous and I love the scatter of sparkle!
ReplyDeleteThat big sun is just perfect on this sketch!! And I absolutely adore it with the Night of Navy and polka-dotted DSP. It definitely sends some "sunshine"!
ReplyDeleteWell, I was going to say send that sunshine here but you probably already could guess that I would say that! It's so disappointing that March has been so dreary so seeing this big ol' sun is just the thing to remind me that spring is coming for sure. It has to! I love your creative take on the sketch!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous card Linda! I just love that big, bright sunshine! Love the background too! So cheery and happy!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool take on the sketch! Bright and cheerful and the colors work so well together.
ReplyDeleteOh this card is totally fabulous! What a perfectly sunny and happy card!
