A week of temperatures in the 90's is very rare around here and yet it happened this week! Wow it has been hot with a couple more days to go. Polar bears like us struggle with such heat~! Good things the plants on my card love those high temps!
And yet somehow these kiddos managed to have the energy for a sack race! Oh to be five again! Don't you love the flying hair?
I used both the sketch and the photo this week as inspiration at Fusion! Join us!
Stamp Set: Cups and Succulents (SSS)
Paper: Whisper White, Tranquil Textures DSP
Ink: Memento Black, Copics, Tranquil Tide
Your card is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteKids, funny how temps don't seem to want them just take a nap like me.
Such a cute card! Love your design and the colors are perfect! Glad that the kids had a good time in the race...90 degrees is too hot for me to do anything other than sit in the water! ;)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blues and greens! Such a fun card - and those jumpers! What fun!
ReplyDeleteLinda love your take on the challenge. The succulents look so cute in the tea cup and your color choices look cool, even though the plants love the heat.... yet the HEAT going on there and here is record breaking! I just have a hard time over 85 degrees and the heat here has been in the low 90s with index around 100-105! Crazy hot here. The little ones never seem to mind though.

Oh yes, I love the flying hair...and of course, those smiling sweet faces too :) The heat is a real beast, but with little ones, you would never know it, right?
ReplyDeleteI love your take on the sketch and color combo, Linda! Your succulents are so pretty and the lovely papers you chose for the banners is sheer perfection!
Great fusion, Linda! Beautiful images and the soft colors are perfect. And what a fun photo! Wish I had that sort of energy... :)
