Fusion: Mint

Inspired by the spring greens and the cable knits in the photo I decided that this adorable spring lamb was the perfect image to use on my new baby card.  I added the close up photo below so you could see my sweet lamb has some minty green curls to create a pretty springtime yarn!

Unfortunately I never seem to see such sweet creatures in my yard.  On one of our recent winter days at camp my son felt bad for the birds since it has been such a tough winter.  So before we left for home he filled the feeders and added extra seed along the railings of our porches.  Well we got birds all right......about a dozen wild turkeys arrived in no time flat.  We weren't in a hurry to get to our cars anyway.........

I love Fusion's minty theme this week!  Join us!

  1. Well, I was captivated by your sweet little minty-hued card (love that lamb)...and then I almost spewed my coffee when I saw your bird feeder!!! Those silly birds...I guess they need to eat too! That's what my husband says about the squirrels but I still want to chase them away!!

  5. LOve the dots!! and would love to have this sweet little lamb grazing on something green... sorry to say with all the snow he'd get lost from view! But not if he had these sweet little green wooly curls!
At our former home in the 2 acre wood, we had turkeys most days... sometimes 100's at a time. Unbeknownst to me, these buggers sleep perched in the trees... the first time I saw them wake up I thought it was raining turkeys!!!

I'm in awe of that big fat turkey stealing all those seeds from the little birds who need it so badly...WOW!
