Fusion: Hedgehog Scooter
My favorite way to do the Fusion challenge is to use both the sketch and the picture. But I knew I was in trouble this week when I saw the photo. I don't have one hedgehog image anywhere....so then I thought I must have a scooter image somewhere....anywhere in my craft room.....nope nope nope!
And then I remembered my daughter needs 35 graduation cards in three weeks so I decided to use the sketch to get them started. I am terrible at making multiples (unless it's cookies) - easily bored - or easily distracted - but I did make two of these! Time to think of a new design for the next "batch.....
Hope you join us at Fusion this week!
Stamps: Wavy Sayings (Lawn Fawn), Bravo Grad (FSJ)
Paper: Mango Melody, Whisper White, Gray Granite, Best Route DSP
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Copics
Cloud Embossing Folder (SU!)
Such a great card! Love the embossed clouds and the little airplane with the banner. Perfect colors too. :)
ReplyDelete35???? you better hop to it … hedgehog or not, this is a fabulous card, Linda! LOve that blue dotted DSP!

Not having hedgehogs or scooters wasn't a problem! This is so cute and perfect for graduation. I think you should make more of these!
ReplyDeleteI had the same dilemma with no hedgehog or scooter images in my huge stamp collection!! I love your grad card alternative and it just dawned on me that I have no one graduating this year (unless you count my 4 year old granddaughter who "graduates" from preschool!
ReplyDeleteI COULD NOT WAIT to click into the post titled "Hedgehog Scooter" - you just went with the sketch, but I don't feel like I missed out at all! What a beautiful card - perfect inspiration for a great graduation card!
ReplyDeleteI really LOVE how you played with the sketch, Linda! You didn't need a hedgehog or a scooter to knock it outta the park....your card is perfect! Love your color palette, too! Good luck getting all those cards done on time...I'm sure you'll be fine :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful take on the sketch! It's just perfect for a graduation card with the "sky" and the banner above the graduation cap. And, lookee, no hedgehogs were harmed in the making of this card :) :)
ReplyDeleteLOL, I don't have any hedgies either, but your sketch interpretation is amazing! What a fun graduation card!
ReplyDeleteI love this cheerful congratulation card, Linda! Wow! You need 35 of them? I would hate having to make multiples to that extent !!!!
ReplyDelete35 graduation cards??! Well, at least you have two beauties with this design! I'm pleased I managed to make a Fusion to blog just in time tomorrow - and I did manage to find a hedgehog too!
