It is Pumpkin Season around here so I decided to use this sweet trick or treater on my card today. We went to The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze this past weekend in Croton-On-Hudson.....a town about three hours south of us along the Hudson River. You follow a path through amazing carved pumpkin displays on the grounds of the historic Van Cortlandt Manor. It was a magical experience!
Amy designed a sweet sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you join us!
Stamps: Spooktacular Friends (MFT), Colorful Seasons
Paper: Whisper White, Follow Your Art DSP
Ink: Memento Black, Calypso Coral, Distress, Copics
What a sweet card! Perfect with the leaves and the sweet mouse. :) The pumpkin place looks amazing! Might have to try to check that out. :)
ReplyDeleteLinda, you can't imagine how much I wish I still lived in New Windsor, NY - you could have picked me up on the way! [and think of the crafty adventures we might have had!]
ReplyDeleteI love your little treatster! and those GORGEOUS leaves!

This mouse is as cute as can be, Linda! What a sweet card! ♥ And...who doesn't love a good light show?! ♥
ReplyDeleteWhat fun photos!! The leaves behind your mousie are such a great background. Super cute card!
ReplyDeleteThis is ADORABLE! Love that little mouse playing in the leaves! I vote for Sweets!
ReplyDeleteThe light show looks amazing, too! XXX
Wow! What a display! We have the Chadds Ford Great Pumpkin Carve, but it's not quite as spectacular as that! But your little trick-or-treater is as cute as can be...both of them!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a festival! I've never seen anything quite like it. And what a fun card. I love that little mouse!
ReplyDeleteThis card is just too sweet Linda! I love that little mouse and the pretty leaves in the background! I also totally love those pictures from your pumpkin adventure! Those pumpkin creations are just incredible!! Totally looks like it was worth the drive!
ReplyDeleteFun and cute as can be! The pumpkin path looks amazing and definitely worth the drive!
ReplyDeleteI loved your post Linda! First, your card is beautiful - from those beautiful leaves to the sentiment to the perfectly selected sequins. Also the cute mouse made me smile because although we don't really celebrate Halloween in the UK in the same way as folk do in the US, we have a neighbour whose eldest child was given a pumpkin outfit like the one your mouse is wearing. We have watched that pumpkin costume being passed down to five children through the years! I loved your Jack-O-Lantern Blaze pics too - what an amazing experience that must have been!
ReplyDeleteWow! Linda: This is the cutest Halloween mouse ever! I'm not very fond of Halloween cards but this one makes exception! I truly LOVE IT
