Fusion: Pumpkin Diorama

I grew up in a small village in a house with a huge yard with lots of trees.  That meant lots of leaves.....lots of raking.....lots of leaf piles....and lots of jumping which led to more raking - it was a never ending cycle of fun!  Eventually the trees were bare and the leaves shriveled up.  Then my dad would burn them - I still love that smell!  We can't burn leaves where I live now so I make the Big Guy wait until the last possible day to rake and bag them.  I may no longer jump into leaves but I'm great at shuffling through them while I play with the dog!

I love this sweet girl walking through the fall leaves - and I love the inspiration at Fusion!  Hope you join us~!

  1. What a cute card! Love the sentiment too. Yep, I remember the raking and the jumping too! Glad that you're still enjoying them with the puppy! :)

  2. Linda, I am transported back to my childhood reading your story - and it happens every time I shuffle through those dried leaves!

  3. What is it about playing in the leaves and crunching through the leaves that is so nostalgic? I have similar memories. And your adorable card captures it perfectly.

  4. What a sweet little image...I love it a latte too! Speaking of leaves, that's what I did yesterday...raked lots of them! And today, my muscles are protesting! I hate getting old. But I did burn some of them...brought back memories too!
