Crafting is definitely the therapy I need these days. Of course it may not be cheaper than therapy but it works for me! I'm visiting lots of blogs and Facebook groups and continue to be inspired by beautiful work.....and by amazing stories of courage and coping during this scary time. I am also mailing out a card a day to check in with friends, family.....and crafty friends!
Meanwhile Miss Emma is getting very proficient on her iPad as her lessons are now online. Yesterday was Superhero Day and everyone in her class shared pictures of themselves as a superhero!
Square cards are fun! Enjoy Judy's sweet sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
Stamp Set: It Starts With Art
Paper: Whisper White, Pacific Point, Follow Your Art DSP
Ink: Memento Black, Pacific Point, COpics
Cute card! Perfect sentiment with your images and designer paper too! Sweet picture of the masked superhero. :)
ReplyDeleteYou girls have changed the way I look at blue … even though being blue has put a damper on my creativity lately, I'm so happy to see this cutie in my inbox!
ReplyDeleteThis is fabulous, Linda! Oh your friends have such fun coming to their mailbox!! xx

Oh, now this is a real cutie!! What a great card to send to all your crafty friends that you're missing right now! Those bright colors make me smile! As does Emma, of course! Yep, everyone is getting proficient at their technological tools! I even did a video chat with my family!!
ReplyDeleteI love these bright, happy colors and I kinda forgot about Pacific Point -- I need to dig that card stock out! I love the card, and I love your plan of sending out more cards.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute image! And I love the paper you used behind it!
ReplyDeleteThis sure caught my eye in the DT samples yesterday and it's NOT because I gasped to see you had used sequins either! (But I was pleasantly surprised.) Another winner in my book, love it!
ReplyDeleteOh this card is just fabulous! I love the ribbon spools and the bright colours! Emma is super cute in her superhero costume! I think her school sounds way more fun than the Grade 9 math and Grade 6 science I'm trying to teach!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally love how cheery your card is, Linda! The perfect card to brighten someone's day. Hold on crafting and stay safe my friend.
ReplyDeleteLove your take on this sketch, Linda! The stack of ribbons is such a unique image- super fun!
