Stamp Review Crew: Art Gallery

The Stamp Review Crew is featuring the set Art Gallery today.  It is part of the Fine Art Floral Suite of products.  I had an idea in mind as I awaited my shipment of products.....but as you know we often have to fall back and punt these days!  My stamps and dies arrived just in time but everything else is somewhere in UPS land.  So I changed my color scheme plan to go with Playing With Patterns DSP.  I used the word "just" from the diecut "just wanted to say" and I masked off the "I'm" in the sentiment so only "thinking of you" got inked.  And just like that a new sentiment was born!

I used the sketch from Fab Friday as the basis for my design.

Nikki Spencer does fabulous work!  Head back there if you missed it!

Otherwise keep going to see what treats Kelly Kent has in store!

Stamp Set: Art Gallery

Ink: Rococo Rose, Highland heather, Old Olive

Paper: Whisper White, Highland Heather, Playing With Patterns DSP

  3. Pretty soft colors and I like how you double layered the flower die cuts; really makes them pop! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!

  4. I really like the layers for the flowers, Linda. The soft colors are such a nice change from the colors of the coordinating DSP -- a great opportunity to make something positive from the delay.
