We celebrate St. Patrick's Day at our house because it is also the Big Guy's birthday! We also celebrate it as the end of winter and beginning of spring around here. Even if it snows on his birthday it doesn't last long at this stage. But tomorrow's forecast looks like a perfect early spring day - the snow is melting and the mud is appearing!
I love to combine both the sketch and the photo for our Fusion challenges but in honor of the day I had to make a St. Patrick's Day card. I loved using this designer paper with a soft green and pink - a fun change from bold green and orange. I stamped some shamrocks on the DSP and embossed them in gold for added sparkle. A bit of gold cord adds to the shine - just hard to see in the photo!
