Almost Apple Season.......FMS549

Almost apple season here already!  Seems like only yesterday sweet corn season started - and before that blueberry season - and before that strawberry season........obviously I just eat my way through summer.  Nothing better than buying fruits and vegetables at our local farm stands.  Many of my friends and relatives have gardens so I am well supplied with tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers also.  But I have now drawn the line at zucchini - enough already!

I love the new dies that go with the Apple Harvest set - worked perfectly for this week's sketch!

Jen Timko kept it sweet and simple this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  Have fun with the sketch!

Stamp Set: Apple Harvest

I do have a wonderful orchard not too far from us where we go to get my husband his favorite Honeycrisps! I'll see him in September - singing yet?
    Love your darling apples!

  4. That pretty paper is the perfect backdrop for the sweet apples. YES! We love honey crisp best. We've been trying all the varieties of peaches from the nearby orchard this summer. The season is almost over!

  8. What a great card. Loving the background and the apples are so pretty. - Will be looking forward here to making apple pie in the fall. - I've been doing lots of different recipes for zucchini bread and may even try brownies using it. Had to laugh at your comment about eating your way through summer.

  9. I am a bit jealous with all the talk of garden fresh food. My tomatoes were just sad.... I love this apple card and cannot wait for full apple season.
