Rule of Four......FMS635

We all know the rule of three and that an odd number grouping looks better but sometimes the Rule of Four must go into effect.  I had three cups beside the coffee pot and declared my card finished but then.......a splot of ink appeared out of nowhere above the yellow cup! Don't you hate when that happens???

So I immediately enacted the Rule of Four which states: Move over you three....there is always room for one more!

Tried to get a shot that shows off the gold metallic paper.......

So many possibilities with Jen Brum's wonderful sketch this week!  Hope you join us at Freshly Made Sketches!

  1. That's my rule every day, Linda! But I don't have near as cute a set up as this! Ohhhh, do I love a French pressed coffee!
Sorry about your mishap - but you sure solved the issue well!

  3. Love your card. Coffee is "in" (did it ever go out) right now. Love how you applied Rule #4!

  4. I feel like the odd number rule is highly overrated! Go with whatever works for you!! Your 4 cups looks fabulous! Love all the different colours! Those hearts look fantastic as well!

  5. A happy accident for sure - besides, if you include the cafetiere you still have an odd number right ;-) I love this card though - I think the border is my favourite part, such a neat detail.
