This card is off to a wonderful friend of mine who welcomed her first grandson this week. We met as brand new teachers way back in 1971 when we were assigned neighboring classrooms and have been friends ever since. We were something else with our long straight hair, mini skirts and platform shoes..........seems like yesterday............

ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! I have had this set for quite a while and still haven't inked it up. But since I am going to have my first grandchild in December, I am betting I will be using it before long!
ReplyDeleteAnd if you started teaching in 1971 that means you are just a few years older than me because I graduated high school in 71! Doesn't really seem all that long ago in some ways, but in others it seems like forever!
