Remember the witch in The Wizard of Oz writing "Surrender Dorothy" across the sky? I do! Pretty scary stuff when you are 6! Looks like this witch from Toxic Treats is much friendlier - and not a flying monkey in sight! (shudder)
Emma Lin is pretty friendly herself this week. She is one month old and already practicing the royal wave! Not quite ready for sitting up though...........I think she is hiding from those flying monkeys!
Margaret designed a great sketch for us this week at Pals Paper Arts - hope you join us!
she's definitely hiding from the monkeys . . . what an adorable peanut. your card is wonderful ... the end of the "broom" blowing in the wind is genius.
ReplyDeleteHey Linda, glad your back to sharing and I love your Halloween card. So Scarey and your little Emma is so cute and already waving. WOW!
ReplyDeleteI how you stamped the sentiment on the itty bitty banners! Great Card.
ReplyDeleteLove your flying witch pulling the happy halloween banners! Such a great idea. That little emma is so cute!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love the witch! A fabulous card. And what an adorable little Emma!
ReplyDeleteLove the papers you used here, Linda. The First Editions is a great choice. All the details are fantastic. Emma Lin is doing exactly what I used to do during the Wizard of Oz, hiding behind a pillow!
ReplyDeleteWell, the card is fun....but Emma is FUNNER! Oh my gosh, what a cutie...even falling down!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Linda! How cute! Love the cut out witch. I'd like to order 400 please! The balance of color is perfect, but my favorite is the moon!
ReplyDeleteSweet photos! Fun card! Thanks, Linda!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Halloween card, Linda! I hope you enjoyed cutting out this witch as much as I did! LOL Emma Lin is such a cutie patootie!!! I love the "wave"!
ReplyDeleteI remember being scared by lots of scenes in that movie, but it didn't stop me from watching! At least your witch doesn't look quite as frightening!
ReplyDeleteAnd look at little Emma and all that hair! She's so adorable!
I LOVE your witch and her banners, Linda Callahan! It does remind me of the Wicked Witch of the West doing her skywriting! Too cute! But, not as cute as little Emma Lin! She really has the royal wave down! Smart girl! I'm with you on those flying monkeys. They really scared me and continued to haunt me, even in my early adult years! Shelter Emma Lin from those flying monkeys for a few more years!
ReplyDeleteLinda this card is just WOW! Love the newsprint background with the images... so cool looking. Love the flying witch!
ReplyDeleteYour little angel is ADORABLE!
I certainly don't blame her from hiding from the flying monkeys... they gave me nightmares as child, and I STILL don't like them much!
Hugs
Oh my cuteness! Your card is amazing! Love how you did the flying banners from the broom, so genius!
ReplyDeleteOf course, your card can't compare to that adorable Emma Lin!! She is a beauty!! I'm loving those shoes! Is grandma responsible for those?!
Awww! Emma is so cute! I remember that stage, when they cannot sit up yet and just slide all over the place. LOL
ReplyDeleteYour card is neat! Love how you used those little banners as the trailing 'exhaust' from the witch's broom.
What a fun Halloween card Linda! Love the witch and the banner trailing behind! Thanks for the inspiration!
