It's Great To Be Back! FMS 58
It is great to be back with the wonderful gals at Freshly Made Sketches! Storybook DSP was just hanging around my desk so I decided to put it to good use on Narelle's cool sketch!
Here's a peek at the simple thank you cards I had been making using Storybook Designer Paper.
And here's a peek at Emma - I believe this is the "Don't try to sweet talk me" look!
Oh my goodness!!!!! This look says to me: "Don't you mess with me, honey" Oh Linda, she is precious, adorable, cute as can be. God Bless her.
ReplyDeleteLove your card and please tell me, where did you get that punch or what ever you used to give the paper that "note book page" look. I think it's awesome. I hope this comment makes it to your blog.
Maria.
It's so great to have you, your designs and your beautiful granddaughter back with us. I always look forward to your designs and now I'll be looking forward to watching Emma grow. Your card today is everything I expect from you... beautiful design and perfect elements. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI have to admit - I don't generally like things at funky angles, but this is a perfect layout for a school card - it captures the layers of homework and the slightly messy desks with colors and crayons. Love it!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute card....my Storybook gets neglected and I love it so much! Well, that little Emma seems to say "I am being neglected, you better get over here!" SO cute!
ReplyDeletePrecious photo - she is so adorable. Love that look.
ReplyDeleteLove your card also. Great take on the sketch.
Glad to have you back my friend! I love your card; it has a total Linda feel to it. Fun and funky! :) Love Miss Emma. Looks like she might have a bit of attitude already.
ReplyDeleteOh, that sweet Linda style is back! And how fun that you've got notebook paper, staples and some cursive writing on your card! Once a teacher, always a teacher!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Linda! Love your card! And your granddaughter is one cutie pie!

ReplyDeleteLinda, this card is fabulous! I love those colours and love that school theme! So perfect from a retired teacher! Love those added stapes, the clip and the twine! Emma is absolutely beautiful! Love that look! I'm sure she'll master it over the next few years!!!!
ReplyDeleteYour card is fabulous, Linda! And I love your thank you cards! But I have to say that the look on Emma's face is priceless! It looks like your team mates are happy to have you back at FMS!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back and how cute is that little Emma!
ReplyDeleteEmma looks to be a wee bit saucy, like her grand-mama! Cute photo! You must be over the moon. Great to see you "back", missed your fun creations and witty banter!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Lesley
