The Best Things in Life........PPA154

Oh that tulle reminds me of the netting on the hats my mother wore in the 40's and 50's.  (Yep I'm old!)  I got a new hat every year for Easter and couldn't wait until I was "old enough" for a bit of a veil on my hat.  By the time I was old enough hats were so yesterday.  We just wore flowers in our hair.............

Pals Paper Arts has a sweet color challenge this week!

                                            PPA Color Challenge March

Looks like Emma is rockin' these colors too!

  2. ACK---I just want to hug that little baby! I miss those days! Your card, as well as Emma's shirt, is adorable! I remember my mom's hats too...although I never wore one, my MIL wore one every Sunday to church until she passed away two years ago! She was known as the "hat lady"!!!

  4. I'm a bit jealous that Emma already has enough hair to hold a bow! Your card came out so cute! Maybe you work better under the pressure of a deadline than you thought you did? ;)

  17. Oh my goodness, Linda Callahan! Even though I LOVE your card, you could have just layered a border of Raspberry Ripple around little Emma's pic and adhered it to a base of Crumb Cake! She is so precious and wears these colors so well!
