Peace but Not So Quiet......FMS214






These old fashion snowshoes from Winter Wishes remind me of a simpler time and the word peace seemed like a good fit for the sentiment. But perhaps I reached for the word peace because yesterday's outing with the Katzenjammer Kids went very well. The doctor pronounced Gram totally recovered and a celebratory trip to McDonald's was in order.




But that did lead to a rather spirited "discussion" about who got the longest French fry.......

    Linda what a cool card. I have two different snowshoe sets... love them both. My brother was snowshoer in college on a team and I always think of that. Love how you hung them with the sprig though. Very cool.
    Good news from the doc too.

    Beautiful card! I love the snow shoes, but I never did get this set. Your card is really adorable. I must admit though, I really love the great news about your Mom. That's awesome.     Looks like Gram won the french fry contest! I think she deserves it after all she's been through! And what a great card this. I actually have a couple of pairs of snow shoes just like this. I love the old-timey look of them! :)

    This is such a beautiful card Linda! I saw that set and wondered what I would ever do with it. You make it look so easy! It's so gorgeous! Love the picture of Emma and Amma! Hope they enjoyed their McD's!

    Stunning card Linda! I struggled with what to do with the snowshoes in this set and you have so perfectly highlighted them here. Perfectly balanced and I love the retro feel.
