These old fashion snowshoes from Winter Wishes remind me of a simpler time and the word peace seemed like a good fit for the sentiment. But perhaps I reached for the word peace because yesterday's outing with the Katzenjammer Kids went very well. The doctor pronounced Gram totally recovered and a celebratory trip to McDonald's was in order.
But that did lead to a rather spirited "discussion" about who got the longest French fry.......
My oh so talented friend Jen Timko has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches. Hope you play along - it's a great time to work on your Christmas card stash!
Your card is just perfect! Love the simple layering and the fussy cut images. And I think that I have the longest french fry!! ;)
ReplyDeleteLinda what a cool card. I have two different snowshoe sets... love them both. My brother was snowshoer in college on a team and I always think of that. Love how you hung them with the sprig though. Very cool.
ReplyDeleteGood news from the doc too.
Happy Thanksgiving !
Hugs.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful card! I love the snow shoes, but I never did get this set. Your card is really adorable. I must admit though, I really love the great news about your Mom. That's awesome. And the fact that she and Emma had fun about the French fry just melted my heart. How sweet! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wonderful family. Hugs.
