Spinning in Circles.....PP311, CTS#188

September is a crazy busy month around here!  We are squeezing in one more vacation and celebrating three family birthdays.  The month started off perfectly with a trip to the County Fair.  I drag my family every year - they are so over it - but not me - I love everything about it! I can count on one hand the number of times I have missed the fair in over fifty years! This year the highlight for me (besides the junk food) was seeing twin calves less than an hour old.  Mama was still working on them to get them on their feet. It was amazing - and they are fine!  Fortunately I have found a new fair lover in the family - Emma is already counting the days until next year!

Jaydee's fun challenge will have you spinning in circles at the Paper Players!  Miss E was spinning in circles for sure on all the rides - I stayed on the sidelines and waved as she went by!

I used a new SU set called It's A Celebration for my fireworks and a sentiment from Sentiment Sampler by Paper Smooches.

And I followed the sketch from Cas(e) this Sketch.

  1. Awesome card (as always!) Linda! Love the firecracker images, perfect for the circle challenge. Glad that Emma loved the fair, we always went when I was a kid too and we had a blast. :)

  2. What a fun card today, Linda. I like the layers. Emma is totally adorable. It's great for you that she enjoys the fair as much as you do. It's nice to have a willing companion. Enjoy your weekend.

  3. Love those bright fireworks against the white Linda and how they and the sentiment hang over onto the base too. A gorgeous CAS card! The fair sounds like fun - so glad you found a new fair companion in Miss Emma too!

  8. I love this CAS creation! It's like fireworks at the fair! Who doesn't like a fair! Ours is coming up in a couple of weeks, although it's not as fabulous-looking as your fair! Lots of animals & food, though!

  10. Love this, Linda! You are the master of clean and elegant. Love the way you've lined up the images and sentiment to trail off the main panel--simple but makes it so much more interesting. Love it!

  13. What a fabulous CAS creation, Linda! Love that you used starbursts for the circle elements, and also your fabulous color combo. I love going to fairs, too! I haven't been to one in ages, but have very fond memories of going to the Danbury Fair in Ct with my mother. My favorite thing was seeing the Clydesdales :)
