Snow Way! FMS264

"Snow way I have allergies!" I sniffled to the doctor last month when she prescribed allergy meds for a slight cough.

"Snow way I have bronchitis!" I coughed to the doctor two weeks ago when she ordered a chest X-Ray.......which came back negative.

"Snow way I have asthma!" I wheezed to the doctor last week when she prescribed a nebulizer for my low oxygen level!

"Snow way I have pneumonia!" I gasped to the doctor a few days ago when she ordered a CT scan.

"Pneumonia it is!" said the doctor when she called with the results.

Snow way I am leaving this chair for a while!

I have never had pneumonia and hope I never get it again.....but if you have any words of advice for me I am listening!

My talented friend Karren Johnson has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  I used my favorite holiday colors of Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake with an added bit Basic Gray to update the look.  The embossed snowflakes are from Flurry of Wishes and the sentiment from Snow Place.

Feel better, and take really good care of yourself!

  9. There's snow way you're sitting in that chair for long! LOL Hope you feel better! I'm blaming your Atlanta trip, but 'tis the season for sure!

Try this: Cayenne pepper helps the body release mucus from the respiratory tract, which makes it easier for the patient to breathe. Fill a jug with 250ml of water, add 1 tsp of lemon juice and sprinkle a little cayenne pepper. Drink the water, at least, 4 to 5 times every day.

Or this: Turmeric is the best known medical herb. It works as an anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-viral as well as anti-bacterial treatment. Turmeric is an extremely powerful herb which can cure pneumonia easily. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric with a glass of warm milk or water, and add a pinch of salt. Drink this every day before going to bed at night. If you opt for milk, do not drink water for minimum half an hour. Warm some water and blend ¼ teaspoon of black pepper powder and 1½ teaspoon of turmeric. Have this once a day till you recover.

  18. Oh no--so sorry to hear pneumonia got you! Can't always be found the first day or so, but not sure why it took all those docs that long to figure it out! Anyway--take it easy & hope you're soon feeling back to your old self! I've had my shot & will soon get the new one for us older folks, so hopefully it won't get me! Your card is an absolute beauty--immediately caught my eye with the gorgeous color combo & snowflakes & the silver trim!

  22. I hope you're feeling better, Linda. All I know about pneumonia is that it takes a lot longer to get over it than I expected. It hasn't affected your mojo! This card is lovely; I love the Cherry Cobbler/Crumb Cake combination.
