We are approaching strawberry season here - our official start to summer! That must have inspired me to use those funky berries from Fresh Fruit. Or maybe it was this little strawberry that inspired me.....
And while certain family members were having fun splashing around in the Florida sunshine - other family members were home splashing around in a paint can. The Big Guy stayed home to dog sit, strip wallpaper and paint the bathroom. Disney Magic just does not work on him. Now if Tinkerbell scattered snowflakes instead of fairy dust he just might be persuaded.......
My talented friend Narelle designed our cool sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you join us!
My friends at the Paper Players have a fun tic-tac-toe challenge this week! I went right down the middle with green, die-cut, and leaves.
Stamp Sets: Fresh Fruit, Swirly Bird
Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Pear Pizazz, Black
Paper: Whisper White, Fruit Stand DSP, Watermelon Wonder
Die Cuts: Wonky Stitches (Avery Elle)
That card is so sweet! Love the strawberries and the die cut behind them. And the little strawberry playing in the water is too cute too! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card and what a cutie pie strawberry girl!
ReplyDeleteI want a better look at that DSP, Linda! OH how absolutely darling your creation is ... and the little one, too! Call me when the jam is ready, sweetie!

ReplyDeleteYumm! I love Summer strawberries. And I love how you've given us just a peek of this cute dsp. Emma's swimsuit reminds me of a watermelon swimsuit my daughter wore when she was little. So sweet!
ReplyDeleteLove this! So CAS.... and I bet the second little strawberry is your first choice! Have fun! Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card Linda. I love the bright red! I haven't used my Swirly dies in a while, I may have to dig it out for this. No worries, I don't have strawberries. LOL
ReplyDeleteHow fun that a few of us used our FMS cards for the Paper Players challenge this week. Your strawberries look wonderful and serve to remind me that summer is long past here - especially based on the price of strawberries at the supermarket!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great card Linda! I love those strawberries! My mom loves strawberries and this totally reminds me of her - which makes me smile!! Glad you had fun in Florida! Disney isn't my cup of tea either! I'd rather stay home and dog sit too!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable card! Love how you used the swirly die, clever girl. And how bout that Emma strawberry??!! Just as cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, yummy and summery!!! Gorgeous creation, Linda! Thank you for sharing your card with the Paper Players!
ReplyDeleteLove your strawberry card Linda with the stitched border - almost good enough to eat! Not sure which of your strawberries are the cutest though - I think the second one would be hard to beat!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun card, Linda! Love those strawberries, and your background too. But not as much as the little strawberry with two legs, she's the cutest!
ReplyDeleteI'll take a strawberry and FL sunshine over snowflakes any day. The Big Guy and I definitely do not speak the same language! Love these bright colors and yummy looking strawberries!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this! I adore those sweet little strawberries - so many fabulous details make this card a standout!
ReplyDeleteOh, these sweet and fun strawberries are just the thing to help me think of summer! Been weirdly cool here. And Miss Emma is just too cute for words!
