I always try to combine both the photo and the sketch when I create my Fusion card but sometimes that can be challenging! Not gonna lie the picture this week gave my CAS heart palpitations! But some Designer Paper came to my rescue and I tried to keep the rest neat :)
And I need to give a shout out to one of my good friends (and best Children's librarian ever!) She knits hats for ladies undergoing treatment for cancer - a small act of kindness during a difficult time in their lives. She asked me last week if I could make a simple tag to attach to the hats. So I sent 55 tags off to her and she sent me back these two pictures......
A wonderful act of kindness for sure.....

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card! Yep...that picture of the colors would give me heart palpitations too! Definitely nothing CAS about that. ;)
ReplyDeleteAwesome tags and such a fantastic gift! Beautiful! :)
Wonderful color-filled card, and such sweet tags for your librarian's wonderful deeds - you are a very good person, my friend!

ou rockeallenge my friend! Always amazed at your skill! The tags are sweet and for such a great cause.
ReplyDeleteUgh auto correct! You rocked the challenge.
ReplyDeleteYour sweet little vases and flowers are so charming and work perfectly with the psychedelic papers, Linda! Great job combining the sketch and inspiration photo!
ReplyDeleteI love your tags, too :) They look amazing with your friends' hats...such a lovely collaboration, which I'm sure will bring a smile to the recipients!!!
You are da bomb with your brave tags! Making 55 tags is no small feat! What a great thing to support your friend. :) And that Fusion picture gave me palpitations too. I totally wimped out with my watercolor paper but I think you nailed it with that DSP.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant use of this sketch and set. Love the tags you made and for a wonderful cause. Love you, Linda Callahan! ♥
ReplyDeleteThose tags are the perfect addition to the wonderful hats. What a lovely gift from you both. And such a cute card (yep, that sketch would have made me stop for a bit too).
ReplyDeleteWOwza....the card is fabulous (that paper would scare me for sure), but what a sweet act of kindness on both parts of you and your friend, making hats and tags! If you could find out the name of the organization that takes the hats, let me know...I always like to make easy things like hats!!
ReplyDeleteGlad it's not just me that was a little scared by that inspiration photo Linda - I might have to take a second look though, your card is darling! As are the tags for those knitted hats - what a lovely idea, so kind and thoughtful.
