Amour....PP477

Anything in French is romantic!  So the Eiffel Tower and the word Amour were perfect for my Valentine today. I used the Parisian Dies and cut the Eiffel Tower once in silver and once in black.  I offset it just a bit to let the silver shine through.  After I diecut Amour in black I glued it to a piece of Whisper White and then used my Scan n' Cut.  That creates the perfect white outline!

Meanwhile Miss Emma had two snow days this past week so we used the time to design and make 25 Valentines for her class....whew!  She picked the Dino Days set because she loved the bright DSP that went with it......and the sentiment "Thanks for being a friendasaurus."

Snow days are the best - we "amour" them!

The Paper Players has a perfect color challenge for Valentines this week!

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo, Silver

  3. I "amour" your card...big, bold and beautiful! And I am a wee bit jealous of you & Emma making Valentine cards....one, because you had SNOW DAYS, and two, because I don't get to do this with Cassidy anymore!!! But so happy you shared this with us at the Players!

  7. I agree Linda, most anything in the French language sounds romantic. The big heart, Eiffel Tower and sentiment a la francais make one fabulous CAS Valentine! So glad you shared with The Paper Players this week, mon ami!

  8. Gorgeous Linda - those offset diecuts really add a neat detail and I love the white piece that backs the sentiment too - hurrah for the Scan n Cut! Tres bien!! I'm glad you and Miss Emma made good use of the two snow days too - my kiddos are desperate for a snow day but no luck as yet! Thanks for sharing your Parisian creation with us over at The Paper Players this week!
